Exploring perspectives and experiences of dermatologists on challenges in treatment options for cutaneous leishmaniasis in Iraqi Kurdistan Region

This study aimed to understand the range and diversities of opinions and the practical experiences of dermatologists about the treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis. This explorative study based on Q-methodology was conducted in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The study involved a sample of 37 dermatologists. Forty statements were extracted that have covered various aspects of difficulties and uncertainties of treating cutaneous leishmaniasis. We asked the participants to rank-order the 40 statements into a distribution, ranging from “least agree” to “most agree." Data analysis involves by-person factor analysis using PQMethod 2.35.本研究旨在探究皮肤科医生针对皮肤利什曼病（cutaneous leishmaniasis）治疗的观点范畴、多样性及临床实践经验。本项基于Q方法学（Q-methodology）的探索性研究在伊拉克库尔德斯坦地区埃尔比勒市开展。研究纳入37名皮肤科医生作为研究样本。研究人员提取了40条陈述，涵盖皮肤利什曼病治疗过程中各类难点与不确定性的诸多维度。我们要求参与者将这40条陈述按从“最不认同”至“最认同”的分布进行排序。数据分析采用PQMethod 2.35软件开展个体因子分析。
