Annual thaw depths at BCEF LTER floodplain sites

Numerous soil active layer studies are taking place in Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest, and at the Wickersham fire site north of Fairbanks, Alaska, USA. This dataset contains the data for the active layer study taking place on floodplain sites of the Tanana River southwest of Fairbanks. Weekly depth of thaw measurements are made at each of the 9 LTER environmental sites in Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest and annual thaw depths are measured at the time of maximum thaw at any of the other 27 Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest sites that have permafrost or intermittent seasonal frost.多项土壤活动层（soil active layer）研究正在美国阿拉斯加州费尔班克斯的博南扎溪实验林，以及该州费尔班克斯以北的威克瑟姆火场开展。本数据集收录了费尔班克斯西南侧塔纳诺河漫滩点位的活动层研究相关数据。 研究人员会对博南扎溪实验林内的9个长期生态研究（Long-Term Ecological Research, LTER）环境点位开展每周解冻深度测量；同时，在其余27处存在永久冻土或间歇性季节性冻土的博南扎溪实验林点位中，于解冻达到峰值时开展年度解冻深度测量。
