ERS-1/2 DInSAR surface velocity of Hintereisferner for 1995/1996

This archive provides ice surface velocites of Hintereisferner (HEF, Austria) obtained from ERS-1/2 by means of DInSAR. It ist related to Rückamp, M., Cheng, G., Gutjahr, K., Möller, M., Pellikka, P. K. E., and Mayer, C.: Future Retreat of Great Aletsch Glacier and Hintereisferner – application of a full-Stokes model to two valley glaciers in the European Alps, EGUsphere [preprint], https://doi.org/10.5194/egusphere-2025-3150, 2025. See Appendix B1 for a detailed description. Each file contains ice surface displacements (east-west und up-down component in cm/day) in EPSG:32632 projection (WGS 84 / UTM zone 32N). The filename contains the ERS-1/2 scenes used. Note, that the generated maps are not clipped to the HEF 1995/96 glacier outline.
