Serum miRNA expression in 25 oral squamous cell cancer patients with different five years survival status and 15 healthy controls

The purpose of this study is to profile miRNA expression in serum from patients with OSCC (n=25) and healthy controls (n=15). Total RNA was isolated using TRlzolTM LS Reagent (Invitrogen life technologies) from 40 individuals’ serum. RNA samples were analyzed by Exiqon A/S using miRCURYTM Hy3TM/Hy5TM power labeling kit and the miRCURYTM Array. Hybridization signals were scanned and analyzed by Genepix 4000B microarray scanner (Axon Instruments, Foster city, CA).
