ANP System Dynamics Simulation — Supplementary Code Repository Overview This repository contains the simulation code and interactive tool supporting Section 3.4("Mechanism-Differentiated Simulation of the Reinforcing–Balancing Structure") of themanuscript "The Golden Cage: How Algorithmic Nurturing Systemically Erodes Human Autonomyunder Artificial General Intelligence". Important Note on Scope This is a calibration-free, illustrative formalization of the causal relationships specifiedin Propositions 1–7 of the manuscript. Parameters were selected to instantiate the qualitativerelationships already described in the manuscript text (Sections 3.1–3.3) and were notestimated from empirical field data. This repository supports the formal coherence checkreported in Section 3.4, not an empirical validation of the framework. Contents ANP_simulation.py— Core simulation code implementing the difference-equation modelfor Automation of Choice (AC), Externalization of Emotional Regulation (EER), andIsolation from Social Reality (ISR), including: Mechanism-specific functional forms (fast saturation for AC, hysteresis for EER,self-accelerating decay for ISR) Proposition 7 moderator (distrust parameter) Cognitive Friction Design (CFD) balancing loop Figure 2 reproduction code (4-panel visualization) ANP-mechanism_simulator.html— Standalone interactive simulator (no installationrequired; opens directly in any modern web browser). Allows real-time manipulationof all model parameters (algorithmic nurturing intensity, distrust, CFD strength/onset,mechanism time constants, EER hysteresis threshold) with four linked charts. Parameters.csv— Parameter table corresponding to Table 2 of the manuscript.
