Ostreococcus tauri genome. Ostreococcus tauri strain:RCC4221

Genome of O. tauri strain RCC4221 was sequenced at the Laboratoire Arago, Banyuls, France using whole genome shotgun and BAC sequencing method. The genome was assembled and initially annotated at Ghent University, Belgium and later at JGI. O. tauri RCC4221was resequenced 2009 using Illumina at JGI. This data was reassembled and used to improve the original genome sequence at the Laboratoire Arago, Banyuls, France. The updated genome sequence was annotated at Ghent University.
