The data, area, delimits the special protection areas according to the Birds Directive 2009/147/EC (ex 79/409/EEC) on the conservation of all species of birds naturally living in the wild state in the European territory. The aim of protecting these sites is the conservation of nature. The sites are designated according to the rules of the Natura 2000 network. The data comes from the shape file on the web page of the Regional Biodiversity and Natural Areas Sector, but has been modified by the Territory and Landscape Sector excluding areas that cross regional boundaries
