The first completed genome of species Prevotella bivia, assembled from a clinically-derived strain PLW0727

Prevotella bivia is a species within the Prevotella genus that is associated with a variety of human infections. However, until now, no complete genome sequence of this species has been published. Here, by employing a hybrid assemble method combining Illumina and Nanopore reads, we assembled the first complete genome of P. bivia from a clinically-derived strain PLW0727.
