The following details are recorded in these volumes: date of hearing, number of case and whether charge or summons, prosecutor or complainant, defendant, offence or cause of action, Act and Section, fees chargeable or paid previous to hearing, date fees paid, how disposed of, signature of magistrates, whether imprisoned, time allowed, or paid, etc., date of payment and total amount.Inside the cover of the second volume in this series, there is a handwritten list of dates. It is headed by the words "Monthly Court days at Barellan during 1932".After the last entry in the fourth volume of this series, is a handwritten note: "Now see type-numbered bench sheets installed on 1st September 1949".
