Mouse gut microbiome response to Roseburia faecis exposure in DSS-induced colitis model

This project investigates the impact of Roseburia faecis colonization on gut microbiome composition and host inflammation using a DSS-induced colitis mouse model.C57BL/6 mice were orally administered R. faecis or PBS, followed by DSS treatment to induce colitis.16S rRNA sequencing of colonic contents was performed to assess microbial community shifts associated with R. faecis exposure and disease severity.The data provide insight into how specific bacterial taxa contribute to dysbiosis and mucosal inflammation.
