资源简介:
The extracellular oxygen levels play a crucial role in the control of cellular metabolism and behaviors under various physiological and pathological conditions. When mammalian cells sense insufficient oxygen levels, one of the most important responses is to stabilize hypoxic-inducible factors. While the functions of HIF-1A and acute hypoxia signaling have been extensively studied in many cell types, the impacts of HIF-2A and chronic hypoxia on skeletal muscle myoblasts have not been fully understood. Overall design: This study provides the first sketch of the above by comparing global gene expression values (1) in mouse myoblasts (derived from FACS-sorted muscle satellite cells) adapted to ânormoxiaâ (20% pO2), âmild hypoxiaâ (4% pO2), and âsevere hypoxiaâ (1% pO2) cultured conditions for >2 weeks; and 2) in mouse myoblasts treated with HIF-2A inhibitor PT2385 (1 uM) or a vehicle solution (0.1% DMSO) under each above conditions.
