Flood zone of the Loire at 1/25000 from the PPRI

The flood zones of the Loire, Loir and Cher have been mapped, in the flood risk prevention plan (PPRI) of the Loire, Loir, and Cher for an estimated 100-year flood, also known as reference flood. The PPRI identifies two main types of areas: A = to be preserved from any new urbanisation, B = can be urbanised under special conditions, and 4 hazard levels depending on the depth of submersion and the speed of the current: 1=low, 2=medium, 3=strong, 4=very strong, 10=minor bed.
