A manufacturing method of a paper， board or the like having a grammage in the range of 125 - 600 g/m 2， preferably 150 - 210 g/m2， in which method a paper sizing agent comprising maleated vegetable oil and an alkenyl succinic anhydride (ASA) is added to the fibre stock comprising at least 80 weight-% of recycled fibre material and having calcium concentration of at least 500 mg/l， expressed as CaO.
