Effect of EPA treatment of endothelial cells on the TNF-α-induced secretion of cytokines and chemokines.

Endothelial cells were cultured alone or in the presence of 5 µM EPA 24 h and stimulated with 100 U/ml TNF for the final 4 h. Culture supernatants were collected and assayed by Luminex for cytokines and chemokines. There was no significant effect of EPA treatment on analyte expression compared to TNF-stimulated endothelial cells.
