Study of the diversity in the repertoire size of the T-cell beta receptors in the bank vole (Myodes glareolus). Myodes glareolus TCRβ repertoire

The aim of the present study is to estimate the repertoire size of the T-cell beta receptors (TCRβ) in 28 bank vole (Myodes glareolus) individuals, four replicates each. The repertoire size estimates were based on the number of unique amino acid variants of the hypervariable complementarity determining region (CDR3), the part of TCRs determining specificity of interactions of lymphocytes with MHC-protein complexes. Individual repertoire size was calculated on quadruplicate sequencing of CDR3 from cDNA tagged with unique molecular identifiers (UMIs) which allowed efficient error correction.
