This project used Oxford nanopore to sequence MUC16 tandem repeat region. mRNA was extracted from 3 ovarian cancer cell lines includes Kuramochi, OVCAR3, and OVCAR5 and 3 tumor tissue collected from ovarian cancer patients. The MUC16 tandem repeat region and C terminus were amplified with gene specific primers and cDNA was sequenced with Oxford nanopore K12 chemistry.
