The goal of this project is to determine the critical genes and pathways associated with physiological aging in mouse aortas. We isolated aortas from young (14.5 weeks) and old (92.5 weeks) mice and extracted total RNA for RNA-seq. Each group inlcudes 5 male mice. Mouse background is C57BL/6. We want to determine differentially expressed genes in young and old aortas in mice through RNA-seq analysis and thus reveal critical genes/pathways regulated by arterial aging.
