Party-Interest Group Relationships in Contemporary Democracies (PAIRDEM) datasets
收藏资源简介:
The Party-Interest Group Relationships in Contemporary Democracies (PAIRDEM) datasets include cross-national data from three different surveys of 1) central party organizations (PAIRDEM_CPOsurvey_final), 2) legislative party groups (PAIRDEM_PPsurvey_final), and 3) interest groups (PAIRDEM_IG_survey_final). A fourth dataset (PAIRDEM-PPDB_data_v1_2_final) on coding of party statutes and party finance data was established together with the Political Party Database (PPDB). The datasets contain novel indicators on party-group relationships in up to 21 mature democracies and can be used to answer a variety of possible research questions. The datasets enable researchers and students to examine party group ties from both sides - within and outside the legislative arena - and thus cover a range of different relational aspects including new indicators such as groups' input to parties' decision-making processes. PAIRDEM covers 21 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Here you can find all the PAIRDEM datasets, codebooks, survey scripts and documentation reports.
