This data is associated with the study '<strong>Detection of sugar syrup adulteration in honey using DNA barcoding</strong>'.

The results include the sample name, sample type, DNA extraction kit used, and the associated Cq value result for each of three qPCR reactions (Rep1-3), for each DNA marker: 
trnL_P6 is the general plant marker  rice_rrn26 is the rice specific marker corn_rrn26 is the corn specific marker beet_matK is the sugar beet specific marker
*: indicates no amplification 
nt: indicates the sample was not tested for amplification with this marker
