Geologic Map and Digital Database of the Cane Quadrangle, Coconino County, Northern Arizona

This digital map database is compiled from unpublished data and new mapping by the authors, represents the general distribution of surficial and bedrock geology in the mapped area. Together with the accompanying pamphlet, it provides current information on the geologic structure and stratigraphy of the area. The database delineate map units thatare identified by age and lithology following the stratigraphic nomenclature of the U.S. Geological Survey. The scale of the source maps limits the spatial resolution of the database to 1:24,000 or smaller.本数字地图数据库由作者未公开资料与原创测绘成果汇编而成，旨在呈现测绘区域内表层地质与基岩地质的整体分布格局。配合随附手册，本数据库可提供该区域地质构造与地层学的最新研究与实测信息。本数据库遵循美国地质调查局（U.S. Geological Survey）的地层命名规范，依据地质年代与岩性对地图单元进行划分与标注。源地图的比例尺将本数据库的空间分辨率限定为1:24000或更低精度。
