资源简介:
See http://www.nceas.ucsb.edu/public/bayesian. This is currently a bare-bones web site that contains results of the group's modeling of distributions of Proteaceae in the Cape Floristic Region of South Africa (CFR). Results are currently available for a subregion of the CFR that encompasses many of the areas of highest species richness for Proteaceae and plants generally. For details of the Bayesian models please see manuscripts referenced at co-PI John Silander's website at the University of Connecticut's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary biology (http://www.eeb.uconn.edu/faculty/silander/silander.htm). Model results currently available on this site include: 1) Maps of the environmental data layers, plus a document that describes how they were created (see folder "DataLayersApril03"). 2) Boxplots of the parameter estimates for the coefficients ("Betas") for each environmental variable for each species (see folder "ParametersApril03"). 3) Maps of the model predictions for 40 species of Proteaceae over a subregion of the CFR (see folder "PicturesApril03"). 4) A table summarizing the species attributes (e.g. dispersal mode, local population size) for all species (this folder, file "SpeciesAttribs.pdf"). Additional details are contained in the individual folders.
