资源简介:
This interview is part of the Women, Risk and Aids Project (1989-90) archive which was created as part of the Reanimating Data Project (2018-20).<br>Original transcript of an interview with Julia, who has been working in a pharmacy since she was at sixth form college. She talks about her family life and the open relationship she has with her mother around different aspects of sex education. Julia had quite a good experience of sex education at secondary school, especially compared to her younger sister who now attends a faith school. She also learnt a lot through reading teen girl magazines and discussing experiences with friends. AIDS education was largely through the media and is something she is worried about. Julia has been using the contraceptive pill for a while, but has been thinking about using the coil instead. She talks about her earlier sexual experiences and attitudes towards casual sex, and how these have changed for her as she's grown up and gained more experience. Julia would like children in the future, but not until she is married, and is happy in her current career.
