The Chinese Ancient Astronomy Basic Reference Star Catalog is a fundamental all-sky bright star dataset built upon the Hipparcos Catalog, which integrates stellar parameter information from datasets such as HIP2 and XHIP, and has been reduced to the J2000.0 epoch. A total of 15,537 stars brighter than 7th magnitude are included here. This catalog provides coordinate data at the J2000.0 epoch, alongside the latest proper motions, radial velocities and other relevant stellar parameters. It can be conveniently utilized to retroactively deduce the spatial positions of stars across different historical periods, facilitating the authentication and star chart creation of ancient star catalogs.
