Raw data for spatiotemporal distribution of carbon stock and carbon sequestration potential in China under historical and future SSP scenarios (1993–2022, 2071–2100)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the raw spatial data supporting the findings of the manuscript “Carbon sequestration potential of China’s terrestrial ecosystem incorporating moisture recycling” by Nan et al. It includes the spatial data for mapping moisture recycling effects, carbon stock, and carbon sequestration potential (CSP) in China under historical and future climate scenarios. The dataset comprises the following sets of GeoTIFF raster files: Main Figures Fig. 3 data: Annual mean carbon stock in the actual terrestrial (AT) ecosystem of China. Fig. 5 data: Annual mean carbon stock for the potential natural vegetation (PNV) ecosystem of China. Fig. 6 data: Annual mean carbon sequestration potential (CSP) in China, accounting for moisture recycling effects. Temporal Coverage Historical period: 1993–2022 Future period: 2071–2100 Scenarios Three Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP119, SSP245, and SSP585) from CMIP6 are included for all future periods. Spatial Coverage: Mainland China Spatial Resolution: 0.25° × 0.25° File Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) Usage Notes These raster layers are ready for use in GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS. For detailed methodology, please refer to the associated manuscript.
