To investigate the reciprocal effect of the neomorphic MommeD43 mutation presented in this study, we examine here if Smchd1 loss shows converse effects on Wnt or other developmental pathways in frontonasal prominence (FNP) from E10.5 embryos We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 4 replicates for Smchd1MD1/MD1 and 7 replicates for Smchd1+/+. Each replicate was made by pooling 3 sex-matched and somite-matched embryos. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for Smchd1MD1/MD1 and Smchd1+/+ in FNP tissue from embryos at the E10.5 stage of development.
