Univariate distributions from a nationally representative survey on public images of science in Bulgaria (2024)

This dataset contains aggregated results (univariate distributions) from a nationally representative survey on public images of science in Bulgaria, conducted in March 2024 by IPSOS Bulgaria. The dataset includes percentage distributions and counts for individual survey questions and response categories. It does not contain raw individual-level data and does not allow identification of respondents. The data are provided in aggregated form in compliance with ethical standards and data protection regulations. The survey is part of the research project “Images of Science in the Digital World: Between Social Media and Internet Media”, implemented by the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and funded by the Bulgarian National Science Fund (Contract No. КП 06-Н55/6, November 2021). The aim of the survey is to explore public perceptions of science, attitudes toward scientific knowledge, and variations across social and demographic groups. The dataset is intended for scientific research, educational use, and secondary analysis.
