Brassica nigra cultivar:sangam Transcriptome or Gene expression

This is a draft genome of Brassica nigra, the progenitor B genome of Indian oilseed mustard (Brassica juncea). This genome sequencing provides information about gene models and the arrangement of orthologus and paralogous genes in Brassica species. The study will help in expanding the understanding of Brassica genome evolution and to study genes involved in important pathways like oil biosynthesis, resistance development and glucosenolate biosynthesis of Brassica nigra species.
