Land Restoration and Greening in Africa

This folder contains files related to the paper 'Land Restoration and Greening in Africa' by Jessica Ruijsch, Adriaan J. Teuling, Jan Verbesselt and Ronald W.A. Hutjes. <br> The GeoTIFF files contain combined NDVI and EVI local greening for different neighbourhood sizes for the African continent. Legend: 0 = no local greening, 1 = NDVI local greening, 2 = EVI local greening, 3 = Combined local greening. <br> The CSV files contains the percentage of combined NDVI and EVI local greening (with header 'mean') of different buffer areas around WOCAT sustanable land mangement projects. The file 'mean_AI_country_LU_region_v12' contains the percentage of local greening in regions with a similar land cover and aridity index in the same country as the project.
