Crawford Productions Crime Research Collection

This is a collection of research materials gathered by Crawford Productions that were used as a reference point for the various police and crime shows produced by them. The research includes clippings files kept on various crimes as reported in the newspapers of the day. These were indexed by type of crime, ethnic and local detail, and historical context. If the clipping was used as research for a particular show this would be noted. The items within this collection were donated by Crawford Productions to the AFI Research Collection in 2005.
