Unprocessed Swath Bathymetry and Acoustic Backscatter Data from Fire Island Inlet acquired in 2013

This data set was acquired in Fire Island Inlet with Kongsberg Maritime EM3000D Multibeam Sonar System in 2013 aboard the RV Pritchard (Chief Scientist: Dr. Roger Flood). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. Data were acquired in both April 2013 and October 2013, and were acquired as part of the project: Rapid Grant: Collaborative Investigations of the Impact of Superstorm Sandy on the South Shore of Long Island. Funding was provided by NSF award(s): OCE13-22746.本数据集于2013年搭载“普里查德号”（RV Pritchard）研究船，在火岛水道（Fire Island Inlet）使用康斯伯格海事（Kongsberg Maritime）EM3000D多波束声呐系统（Multibeam Sonar System）完成采集，首席科学家为罗杰·弗洛德博士（Dr. Roger Flood）。本次数据文件采用MBsystem兼容格式，包含未经处理的声学背散射（Acoustic Backscatter）数据与条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）数据。数据采集工作分别于2013年4月及2013年10月开展，属于“快速资助项目：超级风暴桑迪（Superstorm Sandy）对长岛（Long Island）南岸影响的协同调查”的研究内容。本项目由美国国家科学基金会（NSF）资助，资助编号为OCE13-22746。
