Dataset Used in the "Research on the Impact of Economic Policy Uncertainty Perception on Corporate Innovation Strategies"

This dataset is used in the "Research on the Impact of Economic Policy Uncertainty Perception on Corporate Innovation Strategies".The dataset selects A-share listed firms on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges in China from 2007 to 2022 as the research sample, and includes indicators of firms’ economic policy uncertainty perception, innovation strategy, informal institutions, and operational performance. To enhance the accuracy and reliability of the study, the raw data underwent the following preprocessing steps: excluding financial firms and listed firms with abnormal operating status (ST, *ST) during the sample period; excluding samples with missing data on core variables; and winsorizing continuous variables at the 1st and 99th percentiles to mitigate the impact of outliers on regression results.
