RNA-seq for bulked segregant analysis

A high seed ratio is the most economically valuable trait selected in breeding Camellia vietnamensis. In this study, a half-sibling population of C. vietnamensis plants with a combination of high and low seed ratios was constructed by crossing a C. vietnamensis female parent with a high seed ratio and an unknown male parent. To determine the molecular mechanisms underlying high seed ratio, bulked segregant RNA analysis were performed.
