DFO Pacific IOS zooplankton database - Zooplankton samples collected during cruises to the Canadian Arctic between 1987 and 2000

The Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Pacific Region Institute of Ocean Science (IOS) Zooplankton Database is a MS Access Application for data entry, storage, and retrieval of zooplankton and related data. This OBIS resource contains a small subset of species distribution records extracted from the IOS database. The 'Arctic pre2001' dataset contains records of zooplankton collected during IOS cruises (8770, 9207, 9324, 9470, 9526, 9924, 0022) to the arctic between 1987 to 2000. Some of the samples were collected through the ice using a collapsing or hinged frame on a modified SCOR net the rest were vertical Bongo net hauls.加拿大渔业与海洋部太平洋区域海洋科学研究所（Institute of Ocean Science，简称IOS）浮游生物数据库是一款基于Microsoft Access开发的应用程序，用于浮游生物及相关数据的录入、存储与检索。该海洋生物地理信息系统（Ocean Biogeographic Information System，简称OBIS）资源包含了从IOS数据库中提取的少量物种分布记录子集。 「2001年前北极（Arctic pre2001）」数据集包含了1987年至2000年间IOS科考航次（航次编号：8770、9207、9324、9470、9526、9924、0022）赴北极海域采集的浮游生物样本记录。其中部分样本通过冰面，借助搭载折叠式或铰接式框架的改装SCOR采样网（SCOR Net）采集完成，其余样本则采用垂直拖曳邦戈采样网（Bongo Net）获取。
