Mars Express radio occultation measurements of the Martian daytime convective boundary layer

The Mars Express spacecraft monitors the neutral atmosphere and ionosphere of Mars through radio occultation measurements. The resulting atmospheric profiles have been used to investigate the behavior of the daytime convective boundary layer, as reported by Hinson et al. (see "Related Links"). This dataset includes two types of data from this paper. Tables 2 and 3 appear in the folder named "Tables"; their contents are explained in the paper. The 17 atmospheric profiles used in the Isidis regional study appear in the folder named "Profiles". Their contents are explained in the file named "PROFILE.fmt", with further discussion in the paper.
