Equity Opportunity Zones

The Shared Dockless Vehicle Program Rules stipulate that operators must place a minimum of 15% of deployed units in Equity Opportunity Zones by the start of each day (7:00 am). Equity Opportunity Zones are locations that meet all criteria in the Office of Equity’s Capital Equity Tool: - Race: Census Tracts where at least 70% are non-white - Transportation Access: Census Tracts where 5% or more use Public Transportation - Socio-Economic Status: More than 24% living in poverty - Social Vulnerability: High (this is a composite of several factors)
