Anil Sarkarer Kabitay Dalit Chetana o Samajbastabata
收藏资源简介:
Anil Sarkar was one of Tripura’s foremost literary figures and an activist who has written and worked for the marginalized tirelessly for more than twenty five years. He was associated with the communist party and its movements from his college days. Later, being a socially conscious artist and politician, he got the chance to closely observe the life and culture, struggle and crisis of the marginalized people. His intimate connection with the Dalit allowed him to understand and begin documenting grassroots-level issues, thus making him a social-political commentator of the marginalized community. Anil Sarkar was not only the initiator of Tripura’s ‘Dalit movement’ but also the father of ‘Dalit literature’ in the state. His writings especially poetry always stood by the Dalits, the lower classes and the Untouchables. He has explored various issues around class and caste of Indian society. The present research paper has tried to explore the plight of Dalits and Tribals in the context of Anil Sarkar’s poetry.
