Permafrost-related hazard, vulnerability and risk estimates for cultural heritage and modern buildings in Svalbard

The data package includes all intermediate and final products used to produce permafrost-related hazard estimates in Svalbard and to combine the findings with vulnerability indicators for cultural heritage and modern buildings to provide a risk estimate in and around Longyearbyen (LYB) and Ny-Ålesund (NYA), Svalbard. The data package consists of five geospatial data types, for each area: 1) GEOM: Geomorphological map and hazard susceptibility categories 2) InSAR: Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar ground movement maps 3) CE: Coastal erosion indicator based on the distance to shorelines 4) CH: Cultural heritage sites with associated hazard/vulnerability indicators and risk estimates 5) MB: Modern buildings with associated hazard/vulnerability indicators and risk estimates.
