Reference Streptococcus agalactiae prophages of each Prophage-type
收藏资源简介:
Streptococcus agalactiae (group B Streptococcus, GBS) causes severe infections in humans and animals. Prophages have been reported to contribute to GBS evolution and pathogenicity. Prophages were searched and classified according to their prophage type (an integration of phylogenetic group and integrase type) in 615 public GBS genomes from humans and animals and 29 prophage types were found. One prophage of each type was selected as reference for further studies and their sequences are found in this repository. This files are part of the supporting information of the paper: Revisiting typing systems for group B Streptococcus (GBS) prophages: an application in prophage detection and classification in GBS isolates from Argentina.
