本数据集根据国家资源环境遥感宏观调查所提供的自然区划图，并参照1:400万原图和一些新资料补充修订得到的。中国1：100万土地利用区划（1996年）-长江中下游平原水田、淡水养殖、建设用地区数据集根据二级分类标准，分为洞庭湖周围水田、淡水养殖区，鄂豫山地水田、旱地、林草地区，淮河南岸平原、水田、旱地区，鄱阳湖周围平原水田、淡水养殖区，苏皖沿江平原水田、淡水养殖区，苏中平原水田、淡水养殖、建设用地区，长江中下游平原水田、淡水养殖区

This dataset was developed and revised based on the natural regionalization map provided by the National Macro Remote Sensing Survey of Resources and Environment, with reference to the original 1:4,000,000-scale map and some newly collected materials. The China 1:1,000,000-scale Land Use Regionalization (1996) - Middle-Lower Yangtze River Plain Paddy Field, Freshwater Aquaculture and Construction Land Dataset is classified according to the secondary classification standard, and is divided into the following sub-areas: Paddy Field and Freshwater Aquaculture Area around Dongting Lake, Paddy Field, Dry Land and Forest-Grassland Area in the Hubei-Henan Mountainous Area, Plain, Paddy Field and Dry Land Area on the Southern Bank of the Huai River, Paddy Field and Freshwater Aquaculture Area around Poyang Lake Plain, Paddy Field and Freshwater Aquaculture Area in the Yangtze River-Adjacent Plains of Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces, Paddy Field, Freshwater Aquaculture and Construction Land Area in the Central Jiangsu Plain, and Paddy Field and Freshwater Aquaculture Area in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Plain.
