Brownfield Inventory (parcel) (City of Dallas, 2023)

The City of Dallas’ Brownfields Redevelopment Program is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to supporting property owners, developers, and community stakeholders in the assessment, cleanup, and remediation of contaminated or potentially contaminated properties. These sites, often referred to as brownfields, may have been impacted by previous industrial, commercial, or waste-handling activities that left behind environmental concerns such as soil or groundwater contamination. Through the program, the City provides technical assistance and financial resources to help transform these underutilized properties into productive, sustainable spaces that contribute to neighborhood revitalization and economic growth. The program leverages funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as City of Dallas resources to conduct environmental site assessments, facilitate remediation planning, and assist with cleanup activities. By removing environmental barriers to redevelopment, the program plays a key role in attracting investment, creating jobs, and improving public health and safety in communities across Dallas.
