The effect of oat and dehulled oat on the ileal and caecal microbiota composition of broiler chicken

Climate change will challenge crop production globally. Availability of nationally and locally suitable crop varieties will help farmers to prepare and respond to climate change. Oats has been less popular in poultry feeding because of its comparatively high fibre content and low energy value which depends to a large extent on the proportion of kernel to hull.The aim of this study to investigate the effect of oat and dehulled oat on the gut microbiota of broilers.
