The manufacturing method comprises a step of producing a plurality of ribbons based on short fibers comprising between 2% and 70% of fusible fibers， a step of passing the plurality of ribbons， arranged side by side， in a device for combing / stretching， in order to obtain an intermediate veil， a step of heating the intermediate veil to a temperature greater than or equal to the melting temperature of the fusible fibers， in order to obtain a cohesive haze (1 0d) after cooling， and a step of assembling at least two cohesive sails (10d) side by side， with an overlap (38) one on the other， then heating the assembly to ensure the cohesion of the cohesive sails ( 1 0d) between them.
