Geometry of the tested folded carbon reinforced concrete shells based on the origami waterbomb pattern
收藏资源简介:
Geometry of the folded carbon textile reinforced concrete (CRC) shells based on the origami waterbomb pattern that were tested under a central point load (effective span 1.8 m, width 0.6 m). The dataset contains three triangulated meshes in Wavefront OBJ format: (1) the folded surface of the full shell, which corresponds to the folded formwork surface, i.e., the lower face of the shells; (2) a solid model of the full shell with a thickness of 10 mm; and (3) a solid model of the full shell with a thickness of 20 mm. The solid models were obtained by extruding the folded surface upwards. All files use the same coordinate system with the length unit meters (x = transverse, y = vertical, z = longitudinal, z = 0 at midspan). The shells are based on a symmetrically folded waterbomb tessellation with two cells in the longitudinal direction and the waterbomb parameters a = 100 mm, b = 493.5 mm, c = 188 mm, and gamma = 53 deg. The surface geometry was generated with the open-source BMCS Shell App. The data can be used, for example, for the validation of numerical models. Details are given in the README file.
