We have used RNA-Seq to examine lymphocytes and monocytes expression profiles in goats infected with PPRV (Izatnagar94), suggesting its important functions in immune response during virus infection. In this study, transcriptome analysis of PPRV infected PBMCs subsets - T helper cells, T cytotoxic cells, monocytes and B lymphocytes was done to delineate their role in host response at 9 days post infection.
