资源简介:
Cupriavidus necator UYPR2.512 is a rhizobium that belongs to the beta subclass of proteobacteria, known for its ability to establish successful symbiosis with legumes of the Mimosoid clade. In most of the studied rhizobium-legumes symbioses, the initial steps of the interaction involve the reciprocal recognition by chemical signals at the rhizosphere level. The flavone luteolin is one of the molecules shown to be involved in the initial recognition steps between legumes and rhizobia. However, there is scarce information on the effect of luteolin in beta rhizobia and no data about its effect at genome-wide level. In this work we used RNA-Seq approach to analyze the transcriptional response of this strain to luteolin, as a proxy to study the first steps in the interaction between beta rhizobia and host legumes.
