Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) TX2 (T is the transition metal cation and X is the chalcogen anion) are of great scientific and technological interest over the last few decades. The current proposal is devoted to study the crystal structure, localize the cascade of structural and electronic phase transitions in the transition metal dichalcogenide NbSe2 single- and polycrystals induced by high-pressure up to 200 GPa and cryogenic temperatures 4 – 300 K. Our results will shed a light on a P-T (high pressure - low temperature) crystal structure phase diagram and help to understand the correlation between crystal structure, charge density wave (CDW) phase and superconducting state (SC).
