Riyadh Urban Transport — NOₓ Emissions: Baseline and Reduction Under Improved Metro Access

This dataset provides the simulation-based results for Figure 13 of the discussion paper "Urban Transport Policies and Emission Reduction Strategies in Riyadh: Insights from a Multi-Agent Simulation" (2026). It reports network-wide NOₓ emissions under the baseline scenario and the reductions achieved under improved metro accessibility. Total baseline NOₓ emissions reach 30,863 kg per weekday, with a 16.5% reduction (4,450.66 kg/weekday) following the metro accessibility intervention. Emissions are computed using COPERT speed-dependent factors applied to METROPOLIS2 simulation outputs.
