Differential influence mechanisms of climate livability changes on population inflow in cold-climate cities: An empirical analysis of Harbin, China
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the research article entitled "Differential influence mechanisms of climate livability changes on population inflow in cold-climate cities: An empirical analysis of Harbin, China". The dataset comprises original survey responses collected from recent in‑migrants in Harbin, a representative high‑latitude cold‑climate city in Northeast China. The survey was designed to capture individual‑level data on:- Socio‑demographic characteristics- Climate perception and satisfaction- Seasonal preference- Settlement intention and adaptation behavior In addition, the dataset includes processed meteorological indicators (spanning 2010–2023) that were used to construct the Climate Livability Index for Harbin. These indicators are derived from publicly available sources and are provided in aggregated form. The data were analyzed using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to investigate the mediating role of deep psychological adaptation in the relationship between climate livability improvements and long‑term settlement decisions. This dataset is of potential interest to researchers in the fields of urban climate adaptation, population geography, sustainable urban planning, and environmental psychology.
