Additions are named because they were formed ‘in addition to’ the original Townsite of Aspen. Some additions were never developed while others have been subdivided into new subdivision. Only a few of the original additions are still referenced in a property’s legal description. This layer represents the active townsite and additions as well as providing reference to the location of inactive additions for historic purposes.
