ICESCR

Following document provides an overview of International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) which is a subsequent document of Universal Declaration of Human Rights and primarily talks about promotion and implementation of Economic, Social and cultural rights of the people in the world. There is also a narration of its scope, background along with its key provisions. A special focus is given on the implementation of its provisions in Pakistan and challenges which this state is facing during this process. Implementation and monitoring mechanism has also been narrated in this document to provide a comprehensive overview of relationship between ICESCR and Pakistan.本文件对《经济、社会及文化权利国际公约（International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights，ICESCR）》进行了概述。该公约作为《世界人权宣言（Universal Declaration of Human Rights）》的后续国际法律文书，主要论述了全球范围内人民经济、社会及文化权利的推广与落实路径。此外，文件还阐述了该公约的适用范围、制定背景与核心条款，重点聚焦巴基斯坦落实该公约条款的实践情况，以及该国在这一进程中面临的各类挑战。同时，本文件亦介绍了相关落实与监督机制，以全面梳理《经济、社会及文化权利国际公约》与巴基斯坦之间的关联。
